Primary Recruitment
Formal Spring 2026 Recruitment will take place January 7th-10th.
Bid day will take place on Sunday, January 11th.
Day 0: Orientation
Wednesday, January 7th
Hear from the Panhellenic team about the recruitment process & meet your rho gamma groups!
Attire: Whatever you want!
Day 1: Sisterhood
Thursday, January 8th
Learn about the relationships and communities formed in each chapter.
Meet with all 7 chapters for 30 minute rounds.
Attire: Panhellenic t-shirt & any bottoms you want!
Day 2: Philanthropy
Friday, January 9th
Learn about the chapter's philanthropic efforts and discuss your own passions.
Meet with up to 5 chapters for 45 minute rounds.
Attire: Business casual
Day 3: Preference
Saturday, January 10th
Have deeper conversations and experience the chapter's unique ceremonies.
Meet with up to 2 chapters for hour long rounds.
Attire: Formal
Bid Day!
Sunday, January 11th
Find your home!
Attire: Casual, you will get a t-shirt after running home!
Am I Eligible?
You are eligible to go through formal recruitment if you:
-
have completed 12 credits at a two or four year institution before the start of recruitment.
-
are a full time student enrolled at AU.
-
were not previously initiated into a Panhellenic sorority, at American or any other university
-
have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
-
are on good disciplinary standing with the university​​.
