When is Primary Recruitment 2025?
Primary recruitment will be from January 7th - January 11th, 2026!
Where can I register for Primary Recruitment in January?
You can register on CampusDirector here: https://americanpanhellenic.mycampusdirector2.com/landing/

How much does it cost to go through recruitment?
There is a $40 registration fee.

What is the commitment after I register?
You must be able to attend all five days of recruitment, from orientation to bid day, in-person. Any conflicts must be communicated ASAP to the VP of Membership, Katie LaRue, at auphcmembership@gmail.com. You are able to withdraw from recruitment at any time following registration.

When can I move into my on-campus dorm/housing?
You will be able to move in starting the morning of Wednesday, January 7th. Orientation is that evening, and formal recruitment begins the next day.

Do I need a letter of recommendation?
No. Our local chapters at AU will not accept letters of recommendation.
What is Panhellenic?
The National Panhellenic Conference is an umbrella organization for 26 national sororities across the United States.

What sororities are there at AU?
There are 7 active chapters at AU: Alpha Chi Omega (AXO), Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEPhi), Chi Omega (XO), Delta Gamma (DG), Phi Mu, Sigma Delta Tau (SDT), and Sigma Kappa (SK).

Does financial aid cover the cost of sorority dues?
No. Financial aid, scholarships, and grants related to paying for college can not go towards covering the cost of dues. However, many national sororities and our local chapters have scholarship opportunities and payment plans for members.

What should I wear during recruitment?
Recommended recruitment attire becomes more formal with each round. For the first day, recruitment is casual -- we will provide a shirt during orientation that you can wear with any bottoms and shoes you prefer. For the second day, recruitment is slightly formal, such as business casual or a nice top and bottoms. For the third day, recruitment is more formal, such as a nice dress that you would wear to brunch or slacks and a professional top.
